Elizabeth Hanley DeLong

Elizabeth has represented employees and injured persons in all stages of litigation, including at trial.  She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, including employment law, personal injury, and malpractice claims. 

Elizabeth earned her law degree from the University of San Diego Law School, where she served as Lead Articles Editor for the San Diego International Law Journal.  She also represented low-income taxpayers in disputes with the IRS at the School of Law Tax Clinic, received Honors in Trial Advocacy, and externed with the Federal Magistrate Judge Leo S. Papas for the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.  She completed her undergraduate education at Gonzaga University, graduating from the Honors Program and studying British Literature at Oxford University. 

Elizabeth’s experience prior to becoming an attorney includes working for Honorable Robert R. Selander to establish a Drug Court in Clackamas County, Oregon.  She also interned as a staff writer for the U.S. Department of State in Public Diplomacy to the Mid-East and South Asia in Washington, D.C.

Elizabeth was selected as a Rising Star attorney by Washington Law & Politics magazine in the practice area of Employment Law in 2009-2010. Elizabeth is currently admitted to practice in Washington and the Western District of Washington.  She is a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers and American Association for Justice.  She serves on the board of Lawyers Helping Hungry Children and is a violist with Orchestra Seattle.
