The Blankenship Law Firm, P.S.

Gregory A. Wolk

Greg has primarily represented employees who have suffered discrimination. He has extensive trial experience, bringing his clients' claims to successful conclusions in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining The Blankenship Law Firm, Greg worked in Prague, Czech Republic at the international law firm White & Case. He also worked for the Government Accountability Project, a non-profit organization, defending nationally recognized whistleblowers.

Greg's educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Houston, Honors College, a diploma with merit in World Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a law degree from the University of Washington. While studying at the University of Washington, Greg acted as Associate Articles Editor for the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal.

Greg was selected as a Rising Star attorney by Washington Law & Politics magazine in the practice area of Employment Law in 2007-2008. Greg enjoys working closely with the firm's clients to ensure that their objectives are fully understood. He then works hard to meet the clients' objectives. He takes pride in the challenge and conviction that he is not only helping the firm's clients, but those who may otherwise be deprived of their fundamental rights.

Past cases include:

  • Trinh & Bailey v. Seattle City Light, et al., (King County Case No. 04-2-26460-0 SEA): A jury awarded two employees more than $1.4 million for lost wages and emotional distress caused by race discrimination and harassment. Review Bd., 376 F.3d 471 (5th Cir. 2004): The U.S. Court of Appeals unequivocally reversed a harsh harassment liability standard set forth by the U.S. Dep't. of Labor's Administrative Review Board and was a great win on behalf of whistleblowers nationwide. Greg drafted the briefs and argued before the Circuit panel.
